School to School Support
Through our geographical hubs, the Trust ensures that all academies have the appropriate support to drive their improvement and hence drive up pupil outcomes.
Academy Improvement Leads
Academy Improvement Leads (experienced principals charged with system wide leadership across the Trusts network of schools) identify need and deploy expert practitioners and resource.
This has been intensive and wide ranging, including NLE, LLE, and equivalent, deployment to support leadership development, (including Principals, SLTs, Middle leaders).
Specialist Leaders of Education and Leading Practitioners have also been deployed to support specific schools and teachers to develop quality of teaching. Additionally, specialist practitioners have been deployed to develop key areas such as EYFS, SEND and Behaviour.
This support is brokered and agreed for all schools in the network by the AIL for that hub using the trust’s knowledge of the expertise on the ground in schools.
Trust Subject Leads and Specialist Leaders in Education
The Trust has developed a strong team of Trust Subject Leads and SLEs who are regularly deployed in school.
These will be the individuals who will take forwards much of the school-to-school support.
They are a mix of high quality senior leaders, middle leaders, and classroom practitioners who have demonstrated the skills required to support improvement in the Trust’s primary and secondary academies. They will work in their specialist areas, which include: English, Mathematics, Phonics, History, Art, Design Technology, ICT, Religious Education, and Geography. In addition, our SLE’s are highly capable at CPD, EYFS, SEN, Assessment, Attendance and Safeguarding.
The AILs will, in partnership with Principals, decide where these Trust Subject Leads and SLEs can best be deployed to deliver the improvements required by the Trust.
